You have No Idea.

You thought, all the while, that “poker face” is my best response to every awesome thing you do.
You have no idea how all compliments from you, even the empty ones, flatter me.
You have no idea how captivated I am at the sight of you talking to people and getting along with them effortlessly.
You have no idea how I get turned on when we talk about “intellectual stuff" ...uhm…including the silly ones!
You have no idea how jealous I am with the people who get to talk to you and be with you every day in the workplace.
You have no idea how I melt when I see you cook. There’s just something immaculate with how you carry yourself…with your movements; it’s like you got all ends covered.
You have no idea how I find your eyes cute when they squint like when you try to inspect something or when you are in deep thought.
You have no idea how much I love to hear your stories, frustrations and hopes over and over again ‘til I memorize them.
You have no idea how much I fear waking up one day with an empty inbox, looking for your lengthy messages and sweet nothings or worse, reviewing them on my chat history.
You have no idea how much it scares me to no end that someday, the only way for me to see you is to stalk you on facebook or type your name in every search engines to no avail.
You have no idea how much I cherish the time I met you because that was the very moment I left my old address- comfort zone.
You have no idea that the time you caught me staring into space, I was actually trying to compose these thoughts.
You have no idea how much I appreciate you for accepting the part of “me” who tends to be a jack- of- all- trade; the “me” who plays tough, opinionated and in control; the “me” who doesn't know what she really wants in life; the “me” who withdraws herself from the crowd she is not comfortable with; and most of all the “me” who is a free- spirit.
You have no idea how much I thank you for loving the little girl in me who gets scared of cockroaches and dark places, who screams profanity when mad, who gets cranky when sick, who gets obsessed with her nail polish, who checks herself in the mirror more than ten minutes, who switches moods, who loves chick flicks and Disney fairy tales, who sometimes wear horrible clothes, who sometimes does not comb her hair, who gets discouraged easily when things don’t go her way and above all, the little girl in me who snores, farts, burps and eats like a caveman.
You have no idea how afraid I am to come face to face with the day we no longer show each other the worst part of “us” because we are already busy impressing someone else.
Wonderful thoughts from a woman in love...
